Growing great readers is one of our top priorities here at Pinedale. 

Harcourt StoryTown is our new Reading series. Click on the link to explore parent and teacher tools as well as student activities.

Pacing guides show the full layout of the five days of instruction and the sixth day designated for assessment and skills review. The pacing guides also let you know when Theme test, Benchmark test, and reviews are scheduled. Click on the link to view either the pacing guide for 1st grade or the guide for grades 2-6.

Accelerated Reader is also a big part of the reading program here at Pinedale.  Each week classes compete to be named the "AR Star Class".  Students are also recognized for their individual achievements on the star students points board located in the main hall.
